Warner Music UK is the first music company to introduce a structured training programme for graduates. From the moment you join us, you will find yourself on a constant learning curve, developing your interpersonal skills and commercial acumen. We have developed a culture of reward and recognition in which you can develop your career quickly. It’s hard work, demanding, fast paced and, most importantly, good fun.

You will receive a combination of direct and on-the-job coaching and development - with the opportunity to work closely with more experienced colleagues to facilitate your personal development - building on your current skills and assisting the acquisition of new ones. You will also receive cross functional exposure and be given project work as well as operational duties to ensure you receive a broad range of experience. The programme emphasises a hands-on approach, combined with on-the-job experience, continuous development of technical knowledge through training courses and on-going development of personal skills. With training and coaching, you will regularly be given challenging work assignments/projects to complete. Right from the start you will be given the support to make real decisions: our employees think for themselves and enjoy seeing their ideas put into practice.

Training and progress are regularly reviewed and your career is developed with your line manager and Human Resources. Formal training is also provided from our in-house training team - dedicated to moulding our future leaders of tomorrow and, where relevant, aiming to optimise your development towards professional qualifications and membership of any relevant professional bodies that will benefit your future, and ours.

Following the successful completion of this training period, you will be equipped with the necessary skills for a role in the department that best suits your skills and career aspirations.

Following the completion of the 9-month programme, you will be assessed formally on your achievements to date. In addition you will present your project and career development diary to senior personnel appropriate to your scheme to assess your future career prospects. Our aim is to place you in the business at the end of the programme, but this is dependent on your performance, suitability and availability of a relevant position at the end of the training programme.
